If you’re looking for something stylish and minimal a tennis tote is the perfect alternative to a tennis bag. Not just for women, our selection of tennis tote bags are unisex and look good on and off the court.

Transition Tote, Epirus

The Epirus Transition Tote is stylish and hard wearing. Water-repellent and stain-resistant, with rubber feet on the bottom of the bag, it will keep looking good for years.

The Transition Tote will hold up to two rackets in the main compartment, held in place with an elasticated strap. Unlike the other tennis totes on this page, the rackets do not have a separate pouch for storage. We think this is slight disadvantage when carrying rackets however it also frees up space in the bag and makes it very versatile. However, we do like the detachable yoga strap, perfect for yogis, keeping your mat secure while out and about.

Inside the main large compartment there is a zippered pocket and two mesh pouches to keeps your valuables, phone, shoes, balls and water bottle separated and organised. While a shoe bag is provided, we would love to see the shoe storage completely separated and enclosed as we’re a bit OCD with our shoes but this is a feature we couldn’t find in any tennis totes.

It’s only available in black, and we think some other colours and fabrics would be great, even as a limited edition. We’re not huge fans of the blue interior fabric, which seems a little at odds with the design ethos of the brand, but we can see how some people will love this pop of colour.

What we love

This is the tennis tote that’s not a tennis tote. The minimal styling really disguises the tennis function of this bag if you’re after a bag that has multiple uses. The lack of a separate pouch for rackets mean that your rackets aren’t as protected as the other totes. However, this does free up a lot of inside space and makes the bag very versatile. Overall, it’s a great bag for tennis at a good price point.

Women’s Tote, Wilson

Everyone in tennis knows Wilson for their great quality and style. We love their simple classic, almost retro, design. The Women’s Tote is a functional and minimal tote bag that’s classically stylish with some great features.

This bag fits two rackets in a dedicated pocket in the main large compartment. A button down strap keeps the rackets in place. This pocket also doubles as a laptop pouch when you’re not carrying rackets.

The main compartment is large enough to easily fit a change of clothes and shoes. It has a good selection of pouches and zippered pockets on the inside to organise everything you need to carry, including a dedicated mesh pouch for a water bottle and a zippered pocket insulated with a thermoguard lining, keeping snacks or a drink cool.

On the outside, there is a large pocket on either side. These both have ventilation so these are great for storing sweaty clothes after your game. Like the Epirus bag, this tote comes with a handy separate shoe bag in matching material to keep the inside clean.

One thing to note, once you’re filled it with your racket, a change of clothes and shoes, a water bottle and snack, and a can of balls, there is only a small amount of room left for your personal items. However, this does mean that the bag is a nice compact size and we didn’t feel this would be a huge problem for most people.

What we love

This tennis tote is the reliable one with classic design styling. The organisation options provided by the selection of internal pockets and pouches is great for those that want a spot for everything. The racket pouch doubles as a laptop sleeve so this give the bag great versatility. The insulated cooler bag is also a great feature that comes in handy in any weather.

Love All Court Bag, Ame and Lulu

Ame and Lulu’s playful and functional bags will bring an extra measure of joy to your game. The Love All Court Bag series is the latest update of the popular Court Bag series. The Love All Court Bag comes in three fun designs and are constructed from heavy duty canvas.

Inside the main compartment, the Love All Court Bag has a separate tennis racquet shaped internal zippered pocket for two racquets, keeping them securely in place. The main compartment has plenty of space and will easily fit a change of clothes and shoes. An additional zippered pocket and two slip pockets will keep all your belongings organised.

On the outside a zippered front pocket is large enough to fit personal items such as a purse and phone. The two slip pockets on the sides are large enough to fit a water bottle and a tennis ball can. Metal feet on the bottom protect the base of the bag, keeping it looking good for longer.

What we love

This tennis tote is the fun one with great personality and function. The canvas used on the outside of this bag looks great and we love how it gains its own character over time. There is plenty of space inside this bag and the discreet tennis racquet holder is well hidden so it can become your everyday tote bag.

Final thoughts

All three of these bags are great tennis totes and will get you to the court in style.

We really have a soft spot for the Ame and Lulu Court Bag. The updated version has more internal organisation pockets than its predecessor but it’s still along way behind the Wilson Women’s Tote in this respect. But what it lacks in internal pocket options, it makes up for in personality: t’s a fun bag, does the job of carrying up to two racquets really well and the canvas finish looks great and will age well.
